FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO SHOOTING?
My top priority as a photographer is to tell the story of who you are in the arms of the one you love. I want your tears. I want those belly laughs. I want to get to know you and work with you to give you an experience that is a ton of fun and extremely comfortable.
I care more about feeling than perfection and more about relationship than setting. If we're at 7-11 drinking slurpee's, that's what I'm capturing. If you say, "Screw the plan, let's hike up that hill and roll down until we're dizzy," I'm already tightening my shoelaces. I want to adventure with you. I want to get to know you and create organic and true images in the process.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE GET BACK?
For engagements, around 100.
For weddings, anywhere between 500 and 900 depending on the
amount of coverage you're looking for.
DO YOU WORK WITH A SECOND SHOOTER?
Typically no. Being something of a control freak myself, I have found that shooting weddings on my own allows me the freedom and space to do what I need to do, quickly and in a way that I trust. That being said, if you'd like a second shooter, I'm down!
Note that there is an additional fee of $250 when hiring a second shooter,
but if you don't mind, count me in!
DO YOU OFFER PRINTS OR ALBUMS?
Prints are built into my three packages, but albums are not. I work with Miller's Professional Imaging for prints and albums and am definitely up for creating your professional
wedding album if that is something you're interested in.
WHAT'S YOUR PRICE RANGE?
Wedding packages start at $3000, not including album or second shooter fees. I do however offer a-la-carte options for anyone who has unique circumstances or is looking for fewer hours of wedding-day coverage.
Though it is tempting for couples on a budget, I do not recommend opting for fewer hours of coverage, simply because in my experience, clients enjoy reliving the entire story of the day and often wish they could go back and revisit those fleeting but special moments
that happen throughout the day.
